[ it doesn’t take long for shuu to show up. for once. normally, he’s all about being fashionably late; today, he’s on enough of a mission he’s knocking on the door within the hour. insistently, of course. this is something that needs to get started before common sense forces him to back out.
it feels a bit like rock bottom. waiting outside the door, a pudding cup hanging loosely in one hand, a lit cigarette he didn’t bother putting out on the way up between his fingers. no matter how long tamaki actually takes, he’s boredly scrolling his phone by the time the door opens, a sour expression on his face. ]
[ would showing up by tamaki's door really be considered rock bottom? come on, the guy even brushed out his hair to meet his benefactor! when the knock comes to his door, all tamaki does is give the house one last check: chips crumbs wiped off the sheets, ✔. laundry piled neatly into a corner of his room, ✔. roommate away from home, ✔✔ (the last thing he needs is to be scolded over his snacky habits for the thousandth time this week.) everything seemed good enough to receive an esteemed guest, and with that air of accomplishment, he makes his way towards the entrance and opens it for shuu. ]
